Right across the street when i came out of home. Not bad ( except for black wheels, i don't like this idea ) looking for a 30 years old car
1982-1984 Pontiac Firebird
Wish i had a rear shot ( 2nd was taken from my car as i was leaving and i wasn't satisfied with the 1st one ) but it was gone when i came back
About the MK2 Golf, was it really sold that way ? here we got MK3 only with that style

No, it's something modified by the owner. The only official Harlequin in the UK was the Polo:

Attended a local car show with my Cougar a couple weeks ago (visible between the Model A and the MGB GT here)
A few highlights:
Unrestored 1960 Ford Thunderbird (of interest to me, it has the exact same hubcaps as my Cougar, probably not original to the TBird)
1970 Chevrolet C-10
1966 Ford Fairlane 500 2-door sedan with an original 427
1962 Chevrolet Bel Air
1973 AMC Javelin AMX
Peugeot 403 (drove in, did one lap of the show and then disappeared; I was lucky to get a picture)
1944 Willys Jeep (voted best in show by the attendees)
And one lowlight that probably no one else noticed:
1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S (with the 'S' badge mounted upside-down; the thicker part should be at the bottom to match the sheetmetal contours)

I don't know how it was named in Europe but here it was Daytona ( Dodge for US, Chrysler for Canada )

Isn't there also was Chrysler Laser?

Yes but the one in your picture seems to have pop-up headlights and 1987+ Daytona turn signal ( to be honest, i don't remember by heart when those turn signal appeared but it was at least 1987 ). The Laser was gone by this time as it was the Daytona's twin only from 1984 to 1986

@ CougarTim : Nice pics, Cougar looks nice too.. How do you pass the day when putting the car on display in those events ? just park and walk away to see the other cars ? Coming back to it a few times to be sure everything is ok ? Just asking, me and my cousin were supposed to do it with his 1979 Chevrolet Camaro RS at this year's Terrebonne event ( would have been 1 st time for us with the car on the site ) but weather decided that there was no show this year...
Saw this one, sad that the pic is a little bit blurry ( camera is doing this sometimes since i dropped it in front of the Infiniti Q70 at the 2015 MIAS )
1979-1981 Chevrolet El Camino Royal Knight ( was just a appearance package or it gives more options ? )
1980-1982 Ferrari 308 GTBi. The CHMSL is surely a add-on ( since it looks original i first thought it was a 1986... ) but that thing, with the i made me do a little search
1986-1991 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia ( not fully sure of name/years, i really should had looked on the rear for name.. )
Missed : late 70's Ford Thunderbird in pretty good shape except for a burn out stop light ( was driving )
a 60's ( or early 70's ) Mercedes ( was surprised, near my friend house, the owner also have a old 911/912, don't know the difference from the front as its always parked with the front visible from the street and usually, when one of them is out, its the Porsche )
a 1980-1985 VW Vanagon because i did not had my camera as it was dark outside and went like : 9 pm, nothing interesting will show up...

Saw a 9-7X at work the other day, there was no official import to Sweden:
And just now when I drove home from work there was this German reg OG900 with Toppola camper, it was circling round the SAAB factory. I'd guess they where going to take the mandatory picture under the SAAB sign:

Not exactly a car but i came across this trailer a few times already and i always found it funny as they made the pun look like somebody's name ( sorry for the pic's angle, had to do a little gymnastic to avoid the car's roof, the A-pillar and my sister as much as i could..).
Sorry for the ones who don't speak french as it lose a lot of the pun's sense in english but "Jean Tretien" was made of "J'entretiens" which could be traducted as "I maintain" or "I keep" depending of the situation ( well, maybe somebody can come up with a better, if possible funnier traduction, got those ones from translation websites.. )
Wish i didn't missed the McLaren mp4 i saw.....

looks in pretty good shape. i know a place where there is one but it is inside a building and the bumper looks like its fading, not as red as the rest of the vehicle
Saw this today. Toyota wasn't lying, they still have a percentage of older models on the road today....
Not in mint condition but still looking better than some younger cars
Soon the nice car season will be out here and give its place to the omg.... that thing is still moving ? season ( there is some surprises in winter... )

The Internet says, that Golf III Harlekin were available only in the USA and Canada -and only 264 cars officially built- so it was a rarity, I saw last week in the next town - such a Golf-Harlekin Or it was selfmade cobblework. Otherwise it looked quite original. It was in oncoming traffic, so I couldn't check, if it was the American version.
Now some pics of the last weekend. On Saturday morning I went to the

Not really worth this year and not worth 10€ entrance fee, but I could buy some old plates and could chat with an old IMCDb-ist, Animatronixx.
Price on request, offered by a Dutch dealer (see the font of the plates)

Sorry for the bad quality, but in the old machine-hall it's quite dark.
Made in 1946 from this pressed wood/cloth/glue-material, which was used in the WWII for making the cabin of the Einheits-LKW as

At work, not for sale:
From 1920, lost for decades, found again in 1993 in Brandenburg, when a building was dismantled.
Well, the price...
Those fellows are on tour now, they had been last weekend on the Veterama, too

Cars on the market/meeting place, except the kit-cars not for sale:
As already said: when a bonnet is open, there are always blokes for goggle:
The location is a former steel factory: http://en.landschaftspark.de/startseite
Very nice, I always go there with foreign visitors.
The Camping Oldie Club participated, too.
Also Animatronixx and friends:
After that even I drove to my parents nearby Hannover. At Saturday evening I met with old classmates for our 25th Abitur-jubilee

On the way I spotted

At the first second I thought "What a fucking boy-racer-clunker disturbs the view on the classic T2"

I spotted two convois of the Belgian military. I couldn't identify these trucks:

In the 60ies, when there were still many Germans thinking, that the time will come back, when Germany will be re-established with the 1937-borders, some resting-areas were named after towns in the former German provinces in the East.
On the same day my sister picked up her new car in the AutoStadt in Wolfsburg. No, it shall be a correct and legal Diesel, she said.
On Sunday I'd been at my friend Mario

to sort and check or club stock of NOS and used parts. Just a little bit, it's too many to make it all at one time.
Some weeks ago he had bought his 2nd LLE (Limited Last Edition)
and one more fun-car:

Pretty much, yeah. Take some pictures, get a nice suntan. Sometimes I'll chat up the people looking at my car, see if they have any questions.
Saturday night in downtown DC, a Ferrari 575M Maranello:
A few weekends ago in Staunton, Virginia, a 1954 DeSoto, 1939 GMC, and rat rod pickup:
Same day, same town, a real oddity. It's a first-generation Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero/Shogun, but not one ever sold in the USA. As far as I know we never got the three-door softtop, and this one is right-hand drive. The license plate appears to have been issued in May of this year and the car is more than 25 years old, so it could be a recent import:
The car has no exterior badges except for 'MMC' (Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, I assume) on the grille, and the Mitsubishi triple diamond is nowhere to be found. I could not find any examples with this grille online, probably because I don't even know what name to look under. Does anyone know what market it might have been sold in originally?

Yeah, i know, Toyota sold ' a few ' 2009-2010 Corolla S . The reason i took it was for the tailights. Still don't know if they were available thru TRD options as i saw some other Corolla S with them ( they really look like they were original ) or if its just an aftermarket set but anyway, like them better than
