SIATA n'a pas pu obtenir de FIAT un moteur et a vendu son étude à PIAGGIO.
PIAGGIO fabricant des scooters Vespa l'équipera d'un moteur 400cm3 2 temps dérivé de l'Ape et lui donnera le nom de Vespa 400.

La construction de cette petite voiture sera localisée dans sa filiale Française ACMA à Fourchambault près de Nevers.

(SIATA, a company usually making sporty versions of Fiat cars, made the first project but Fiat didn't want to provide an engine. SIATA sold therefore the study to Piaggio, which used the production facility of its French subsidiary ACMA)

The English linked page explains why there is no Italian Piaggio Vespa 400:

Fiat had total domination over the Italian small car market and would not allow an incursion into their territory by an upstart car manufacturer. Piaggio had a sister company in France, A.C.M.A., which was already producing Vespa scooters at the rate of 260 per day, and with nearly 3,000 employees, it had production capacity to spare.

Did really Ford E-Super Duty exist, or is it just a mix of the E-Series 'Super Duty' models with the (1987-97?) F-Super Duty name (which I never really understood either :wink:

Indeed the Ford E-Super Duty exists on these cutaway vans in the 1990s. They are usually sold in heaver weight class over the E-350 series such as longer wheelbase, beefier chassis, larger wheels and brakes.

The Ford F-Super Duty was sold to compete with other heavy duty chassis-cab trucks. That predates the F-450 and F-550 series.

Thanks to both of you. I was wondering about this existence because I found one (single for now) factory document mentioning the F-Super Duty truck line, but to date I have seen none concerning these E-Super Duty models.
Any idea of a model year range for these 2 truck/van lines?

All I do know about these Ford F-Super Duty series model years starts in 1988 all the way until 1997. They both exists on two generation (1988-91) and (1992-97).

As for the E-Super Duty, I am not certain.

Nissan Titan pickups should be US origin. The designers were from the North American office and it was designed exclusively for the North American market. Right now most are labled Japan-origin and US-built in.

Nissan (Pathfinder) Armada was already listed as US.
And I didn't change the Z62 (2nd gen QX56) as I'm not sure for that one...

According to Wiki, the 2nd generation was separated from the Titan platform, and designed in Japan. Thanks.

You didn't dream, I deleted it to make some changes, but you discovered them before I posted an edit.

What do you mean by "similar change"? Once checked any and all CJ-2A, CJ-2B, CJ-3A, CJ-3B and so on, ask for a change (actually, four mass changes)?

Well… Finally maybe not ask for changes would be much much easier, right? All right. It finally me cost a lot of care and time for, well, not much reward. (It appears that many of the things I'm doing here look irrelevant, useless, deletable, delayable, no? Maybe I should discretely let the big boys alone.)
