After reading this article:
http://boitierrouge.com/2016/11/29/mpm-motors-ps-160-une-voiture-francaise-a-larriere-gout-de-vodka/ (in French)

I hope we'll see some day MPM 160 in a movie

http://www.mpm-motors.com/

A French-built improved version of the Russian TagAZ Aquila (which I hope to see too, but they made only around 250 of it; from that make we only have a few Tager on the site).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tagaz_Aquila
(the article is not up to date, as it does not mention MPM as future of the car)

The French company plans to make less than 1000 per year, as it is produced as a low volume vehicle.

One for sale here: https://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/1052574348.htm?ca=12_s

Interesting, never heard of it before (either this car or the previous TagAZ). It's certainly an unusual design (the tiny rear windows for example) and the interior makes the inside of a Proton look like a quality, well-designed product. Found their website and they're offering them for 8,500 Euros which seems very cheap for a car of that size produced in Western Europe.

According to the article, it was supposed to be a coupé but changed in last minute, hence the small rear doors/windows

No doubt to be seen in movies next year, Opel/Vauxhall have unveilled their new Insignia:
https://i37.servimg.com/u/f37/16/55/03/78/insign11.jpg
https://i37.servimg.com/u/f37/16/55/03/78/insign10.jpg

It's no longer a hatchback but the "Insignia Grand Sport" with the Estate (which has been seen on a photoshoot in the US) being the Grand Tourer.

If the North Americans are feeling left out, it will almost certainly be the 2018 Buick Regal too.

So according to Autoweek, the base Volvo V90 wagon will not be available at Volvo dealer showrooms in the United States. Volvo will only sell the Volvo V90 Cross Country version from the showroom. The base V90 can be ordered, either special order from the online Concierge service or with the Euro delivery program, where you fly to Sweden and pickup the wagon while travelling, then have it shipped back home.

i might be a little late since the car was unveiled at the 2016 New York auto show but here what the 2017 Subaru Impreza looks like

http://article.images.consumerreports.org/prod/content/dam/cro/news_articles/cars/CR-Cars-Inline-2017-Subaru-Impreza-Hatch-ATC-i-11-16.jpg

Wagon , of course, gets a similar makeover

Since the Impreza is a good seller here, we can expect to see some in a near future

interesting idea here to compare production VS concept

Ford confirms a new North American-market Ranger for 2019 and Bronco for 2020.

http://www.autoblog.com/2017/01/09/ford-bronco-and-ranger-confirmed/

The Bronco concept image looks fantastic, however I fear that it may inevitably get watered-down into some generic boring 4-door SUV that looks no different from any other SUV on the market these days. No pics for the Ranger, hopefully the US will get their compact truck market back again after being completely absent for a few years.

Curious to see the Ranger back . As for the Bronco.. i'll believe it when i'll get one right in front of me. There is so many artists renderings, CGI pics, concepts and rumors almost since the Expedition's arrival back in 1997...

But i'd love to see it coming back...

Waymo, Alphabet's brand new subsidiary (1), will test 100 self-driving Chrysler Pacificas in California and Arizona starting this month.
https://pplware.sapo.pt/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Pacifica_3.jpg
(Some might confuse these mini-vans with ambulances  )

If seen in a movie / TV-Series, how should we identify them? Chrysler Pacifica Waymo Self-driving convertion [RU]?
_____

1 - For the record (and people who are little or not aware of IT industry):
- Google Inc. was reorganized as Alphabet Inc. in October 2015;
- Waymo (standing for "a new way forward in mobility") was created on December 13, 2016. It was known as the
Google Self-Driving Car Project since 2009 and was part of Google X activities.
