For a limited time only

The Chevy Corsica LTZ encountered earlier ( yesterday now ) made me find those lists, then the idea came . A place to park all those limited editions of cars and trucks, like anniversaries editions or trim levels that were quickly killed after being introduced ( like the LTZ, 1989-1990 only ) or even models that didn't lived long ( Buick Reatta for example ) . If we see them in movie, i thought that maybe it could be useful to regroup them somewhere

Here is the lists i found while looking for the Chevy

If you guys know some that could be parked here, feel free, there is no parking meter

test version made with a rotary motor
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citro%C3%ABn_GS#GS_Birotor
not many of the already very few survived, Citroën tried to by them back to make that version disappear to avoid providing spare parts

Before that, the engine has been tested in the Citroën M35, a special coupé version of the Ami made just for testing purposes:

And still about Citroën, that special version of the BX:

There's a french website that's been referencing limited editions for years :

http://aebergon.perso.neuf.fr/menu_general.htm

Good resource site, but some bits are puzzling, like when it says the Subaru Impreza XV was a limited edition for Switzerland (yeah, right).

http://aebergon.perso.neuf.fr/Japon_divers/page_Subaru_Impreza_XV_CH_10.htm

And they still haven't referenced these slightly forgotten limited editions from Belgium :

- the awesomely named Peugeot 309 "Basic Homme de Vichy" (an early range of male skincare products), from around 1990.

- and the 1982 Renault 4 Shopping.

Meh. Another quick list mixing real limited editions with show cars.

Aye, it's a poorly researched article that seems to draw mostly on the most recent and most obvious (Polo Harlequin, Felicia Fun) older ones.

If we would list all the special trim lines, the work to do that, would overchallenge us. Just have a look on the Wiki- or club-pages of specific models and see the listings.

Often even the club-freaks didn't know about very rare editions in some single countries abroad. So even the freaks of the British Reliant Robin Owners Club didn't know the special edition (only 50 cars were made) for NL, made by the Dutch importer in 1978.
Many of them mixed it up with the UK-spec Jubilee edition from 1977.

These two old clunkers I've photographed due the old-style plates for my plate-fellows.
When I had a closer looks I've recognized "Hey, they are special editions!" I never had noticed these before (within 20, 25 years...)

The Polo is a "SCOT edition" and the Fiesta a "Chianti"

I remember the Polo Scot Edition was also available in Belgium. Its logo featured a Scottish Terrier.

Edit : it appears the belgian version came one year before the german one. Interesting.
