Nice Corrado! One of my cousins still has one but hers is the G60 version.
As far as Mercedes-taxis are concerned: This September on a family celebration an uncle of mine happened to tell me that he had just taken a ride by taxi from the train station to the restaurant where the celebration took place. The taxi in question was a current E-Class, just 4 months old but already 170,000 kilometers on the clock as it is apparently operated whithout any periods of rest, 24 hours a day, only stopping for services.
