Speaking of the V90, I sat in one, yesterday at the Brussels Motor Show. I first had to wait my turn for a while, because everybody wants to try the dashboard infotainment tablet and explore every bloody menu, or take a selfie and post it to Facebook while still seated. And once I was sat, it was a bit underwhelming. The wood inserts are real wood, and don't seem to be clearcoated, or maybe that's a matt finish. The loudspeakers' grilles in the doors are metal, also unpainted. I know this is all "scandinavian minimalism", "go back to the real textures", but it feels a bit downmarket. And I still don't like big touchscreens with complex menus in cars.
