Maintenance / Connection problems

What's that for an episode number?
The field is 5-character wide, as I was not expecting more than 2 digits and after the dot :ohwell:
I simply have to increase max field size in the database. I'll change that tomorrow after having done a backup, just in case of.

 very weird
Do you have an error like that each time?
Which web browser do you use?
Is there a proxy server or firewall on your internet connection?
If you can report the other that you got it would be interesting...

It is Opera. Internet settings haven't been changed since long time and in the past everything was ok. Now I noticed, it could start, when site was still on the old server, but back then was more rare and harder to distinguish from server troubles.
The other "error" is something like "Connection closed by server" - I have this in language of browser (in Polish), then maybe something with it. Although I also use it since few years and this didn't happen before.
Next time I will try different one.

The server has changed; on the old server it was Apache 1.x, now it is Lighttpd. So anything special on your side (i.e. if you do not have a plain standard connection without any filter) may be a hint on what happens. The new server may not like something on your system, or vice-versa.

Thanks.

It's probably a one off case as there can't be many series with 200+ episodes per series and more than 9 series.

The AKA page doesn't take "Автомобили в погонах." It only saves the first word of that.

It is because each non-"west-european" character is replaced by an HTML entity, which consists in &# followed by 3 or 4 numbers and a ";", which gives pretty long text  (in this case, more than 120 characters)
So for non-latin titles we have to wait that I switch to unicode for movie titles.

Warning: include_once(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. The new server may not like something on your system, or vice-versa.

I will check this. OK, this is not only a case of IMCDb, last time I noticed this also in case of some different websites, so no pb here.

How come when i want to search every single vehicle by typing nothing in it comes up with a page, "Search without filter is temporarily deactivated"

Because due to the number of vehicles the way that search is done is too heavy for the server. And it is not very useful, except if you want to find all vehicles with a given rating, so I should add the rating to the search options...

By the way, I just added options on the search page to be able to filter by role or on madein/madefor countries.

Yes, there was a problem on the forum server (but it is another server, not managed by me).
