I can find pics of the bus i used to ride in to school but not with me aside of it ( for my high school years, i was said to be in the walkable range when i was going to elementary so no school bus for me )

Yes, that is an old International Harvester Travelall that has been converted to school bus with raised roof. I am hard of hearing and did attend special school system where children who have hearing disablity were gathered at one school location from all over Northwest Chicago suburban area. Interesting, thanks for sharing. A friend of mine attended the special school for hearing disablity in the neighboring town. We only have five such schools in Sweden and for him to attend he and his family had to move 250 miles.
