The ratio depends on the DVD.
The best way to find the correct one:
- if it is a movie distributed by Universal, take a screenshot of the earth logo at the start of the movie
- else, try to make a screenshot of a the side of a car, so you see the wheel really at 90° (if you see what I mean: so they must appear round).
Then once you removed the black borders, you can find the ratio to make the earth/wheels round.
It is usually 1.33 for old movies or TV things, 1.66 for TV series, 1.85 for less old movies, and 2.35 for recent movies.
For this one it seems to be 2.35

aha thanks for the tip ... what is the "correct" ratio?
You are right they tend to look 'weird'

Thanks.
For future pictures, just a suggestion: crop black borders and resize to correct ratio before compressing to JPEG. So it goes faster for uploading to the site, and there is no quality loss due to recompressing

Seeing that this great movie is incomplete and I has the DVD in my hands I thought of completing the vehicles' gallery, and you may add these to the ones already present.
One Star
another shot in the highway at the beginning
some 'vintage' american metal on background ... car on the shot is the '77 LTD which is already loaded (three-star), you may use the shot for more vehicles
night shot, two vehicles pass by
there are several other vehicles as background, but these are the most relevant (to my jugdment), in addition to this Jeep Gladiator which curiously I've never spotted until this time ...
two-star
I'd give two-stars to this derelict truck Rambo searchs and later sits on
and to this model of ambulance which appears also (at least) in another three scenes (please let me know if the other shots are needed)
in the latter shot you see also a Newport, but this should be listed as 'background'
also this Jeep should get two-stars (if is the same)
and finally there are a lot of Newports around ...
three-star
This is another shot of the Newport already present on the database, which I believe should get 3-stars since gets involved in a chase for some minutes ...
Another vehicle to get 3-stars is the bad-ass cop (great acting), there is already a rear shot in the database, here's a fron one (in addition to the one above with the truck as background)
Yamaha XT550 used by Rambo in a chase in the first part of the movie
Military Truck used by Rambo later on the movie:
its moment of glory ...
and its demise
this truck should be also the one appearing here as background, but I'm not very sure.
I think that covers it all.
Another one to go ...
