At the same time, it's an attractive vehicle, in a nicely understated way, so do you really need to do anything to it?

Well, I just thought it might look tougher if it had a more aggressive look. But I guess it looks okay like it is. I was tempted to take off the factory fender flares, but I saw another Land Cruiser in North Myrtle Beach, similar to mine; but without the fender flares. I think it looks better with them, so I going to leave them alone.

I would advise not to get the brush guard unless you actually go off-road and need a brush guard. In an accident, that thing will rip apart any car you hit and kill someone.

I do take it Off-Road sometimes and/or if a situation (i.e. my work) calls for me to leave the pavement, but I don’t go Off-Roading on a regular basis.

I quite agree.

Wheels that chromed are just a little too flashy for my taste (then again, all my cars have been covered in duct tape, so anything that's been washed is more flashy than I'm comfortable with).

As for the new bumper, it works better with a Land Cruiser than shiny wheels, but at the same time, it might make you look a little too much like a paranoid survivalist. That's more your call.

But the thing I would definitely do, is to take away that cover-thing from the hood. I know it is a good protection against the little rocks from the road, but it just looks ugly imo..

It’s because of a rock that I bought that thing. I was following a Dump Truck and it threw a rock up from the road and the rock hit the front, top of the hood and scratched it. So I bought the Bug/Rock Guard to hide the scratch.

wrenchhead has a good point there. Anyway I also do not like the chrome wheels very much.. But the thing I would definitely do, is to take away that cover-thing from the hood. I know it is a good protection against the little rocks from the road, but it just looks ugly imo..

If you don't know exactly what YOU want then leave it alone.

IMHO chrome wheels do not look good, even if not bigger than normal ones, but it is just my opinion

I need some advice/help  Recently I have been wanting to do something to my Land Cruiser (Visually) However being the type of person I am, I don’t know what I want to do. As far a performance goes, I don’t care to do anything to the engine or drivetrain (as it could void the Warranty) :boggled:

I was thinking about some sort of body modification. Maybe replacing the OEM wheels with chrome ones of the same type (as I am not a big fan of large wheels "20 inch" or bigger :halalala: )

The wheels that are on it now are OEM Toyota "18 inch" Ultra-Gloss 5 Spoke Flared Clearcoated Wheels. I found a set of four "18 inch" Chrome 5 Spoke Flared Wheels on ebay, but they are very expensive. I guess I could always have the originals chromed.

This is what my Land Cruiser looks like as of now, with the original wheels and no real noticeable modification.

This is a better picture of the OEM Toyota "18 inch" Ultra Gloss 5 Spoke Flared Clearcoated Wheels, that are on it now.

And here are some pictures of the chrome ones I found…

I was also thinking about some sort of body alteration like bigger fenders or bumpers, except this type of modification may make the vehicle ugly; so I’m a bit hesitant on that on. Below is a picture of something along those lines.

What would you do? Chrome the wheels? Put on a body mod? Or both? Maybe a grille guard? Or would you leave it stock/ as is; and don’t worry about it. I take the opinion of others very seriously on this subject as I am not good at picking out stuff like this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
