Well there's always next year . I like the auto shows for new models more. I haven't been to one for over a year but they're fun to go to.

Antwerpen.
It seems that they do it again next year (23-24 Aug. 2008), maybe I should try to go there.
If I remember well, there is even someone from IMCDB that was going there with his Cadillac, Yvon52. But I do not remember if it was this year or last year. He suggested me long time ago that I meet him there, but I totally forgot that since all that time.

A little off-topic but still about DeLorean :
9 DeLorean in a US car meeting one week ago in Belgium:

edit: found more pictures: http://www.carsthestars.be/events/apow1_event_2007.htm

I hope they use something better than the PRV V6 in the original and it better sound like a supercharged V8 like the Delorean in Back to the Future.

Are there any pics or drawings? I wonder what kind of engine it'll have.

They say "although the company only has enough doors for about 500 cars" so I do not know what they plan to do

If and when they do run out of parts, don’t they have the ability to make more? Or do they just plan to make a limited number of them and then cease production of the car again?

Well, I also wonder what they will done once they run out of existing parts.
They say that they will use 80% of existing parts, but they won't be able to make several thousands of cars with that, I guess.
It reminds also the recent story of BMW that built a brand-new BMW 2002 as all the parts were still available.

Neat! But I wonder how long the car will go before it gets a complete redesign. Its old design is still very much attractive (In my opinion) but the fact remains it will be outdated for sure. Though that I like the ‘80s boxy style cars anyway, so its old design doesn’t bother me.
