There's a few UK vehicle registration check websites, including the RAC site and HPI Check. They use the DVLA database to provide basic info about the car (engine size, year, model name), but you can also get some further information about the car from them, possibly service history and stuff like that, however you must pay for this and you must also enter the chassis number (which only the owner would know).
I don't know anything about Pacman, he's only posted one comment on this site. Although antp might be able to get his email address from when he registered.
I'm glad our site has been useful to you so far. What exactly are you trying to find out about the cars?

My first entry so hope Ive done it right!! Im doing research into my favourite movie The Long Good Friday and the site has been a fantstic help. Part of the research involves the history/provenance of the vehicles involved. Firstly does anyone know of a Jaguar index database, the DVLA site can only do so much. Secondly has anyone had any contact with the member called "Pacman" He has mentioned he owned a BMW RAP911M in the movie and had some personal phots, can seem to find him except for his single entry. Any help would be appreciated. ..........Nick
