Antp is right, in the UK also Corvette is now listed as a seperate brand from Chevrolet (as said above, a replacement for Daewoo)

They are sold by these dealers (as you said, Cadillacs are sold there too... they usually regroup US GM makes as they are not very common, same for Dodge), but you do not find them on European Chevrolet websites for example.
It is the same as the Ford Capri which was sold by Mercury dealers as just "Capri", or the Opel sold by Buick dealers.
