Very nice! love that '76 Olds, pity it's in bad condition. There's a yard in my town full of old American cars. I once went there and took photos of the many classics that were sadly rotting away. Might upload them here soon.

Some cars there that are newer and look better than many cars on the road in America these days, like the 1996 Taurus. It's pretty new for a scrapyard in America. I'm also surprised at all the Crown Victorias, although I guess most of them are probably clapped out ex Police cars or taxis with enormous mileages on the clocks. Was the 2000 one accident damaged?
Yeah, that generation of Tauruses and Sables have only started showing up there rather recently. I too was surprised when I saw the first one there, which I beleive was in about 2006, maybe 2007. I have also started seeing 1997+ Escorts in there too, also a recent addition. Just goes to show how horribly built American cars are, that they can barely last more than ten years. Toyotas and Hondas are and most likely always will be so much better than GM, Ford, and especially Chrysler.
As for the Vics, only one was actually a Police interceptor, the rest were civilian models. They are pretty common cars around here, especially with the elderly community (including my Grandmother who has a '92 Crown Vic) so I am not surprised to see so many there.
And yes the 2000 model did appear to be accident damaged, other than that one I have never seen a Crown Vic in there newer than a 1994 model.

In "my" rooms the main decoration were always, since over 25 years: license-plates.
Now in our house, I've decorated my private office-room with them, too, surely.
But one wall is reserved for K 70-related stuff, photos, pics and other stuff in glass-frames and one wall for travel-memories like tickets, etc. (in glass-frames, too).

taxiguy, your idea for a wall decoration reminded me of the Volvo one seen here:

Yeah its hideous? it doesnt seem as bad from the picture gosh but an Escort or a Camry with a vinyl roof? that's definetly horrible
taxiguy
Yes, that was a vinly roof on the CV
My dad and I were laughing about it, as it is so hideous
Will you beleive that some people in America put vinly roofs on Camrys, and once I even saw one on an Escort
Anyway, I will send you a private message shortly regarding the badges
