I know what movie it is. It happens to star David Carradine and I added the screen captures to this site!

Fantastic movie. Have both an ancient UK VHS of it and a US DVD.

Chevrolet 1/2-ton? The only Chevrolet truck listed are two "C-30" model, and there are many more than 22 of those listed.
Sure you have the right movie?

hint: released in 1977

EDIT: Oh whoops, sorry I see it now

Found it (and about 5 other movies I want to see now). That does look pretty good.
Hint for anyone else looking; all the cars on this movie's page are quite common, except the Chevrolet ½-Ton, there's only 22 of those listed here.

So, I turned on the TV this afternoon, and what do you think I see? A 1974 Dodge Monaco cop car chasing a black '57 Chevy down a city sidewalk. How fortunate I was to have turned on the TV right in the middle of classic car chase! As I'm watching the action unfold, I start liking the chase more and more. It has all the great car chase cliches, and even some I hadn't thought of! For instance, the Monaco crashes into a truck carrying a load of chickens, throwing them every which way, even inside the car  Later, the Chevy and Monaco crash through a beachside snack stand, and after it falls down in ruins, some lady screams at the cops in her southern drawl "Stupid id-yot! You messes up my hot dog!" That part actually mad eme laugh out loud  They even crash through a Mercedes-Benz dealership, that part's pretty entertaining!
Then more great cars keep showing up, including a '73 Caprice and a '72 Buick Estate wagon, and they get involved in the chases too!
Almost every car ends up in ruins by the end of the chases, which happen on and off for over 30 minutes. I have to say this movie's chases rival the best, even the Blues Bothers. It is a must see for any car love, especially if you like big 1970s American cars like I do

Oh yeah, would anyone like to take a guess at what movie this is?
