I'm sorry, but I don't know more about this wheeled loader.
When I mademy military service at the Bundeswehr in 1990/91, my division didn't had such vehicles. The "Pioniere", the guys withe the heavy tools for building bridges and so on, had them.
I was in an air defense-regiment. We had the "Gepard"-tanks and several "Fuchs"-armoured transporters.
Other vehicles were the Unimogs -even some of the late 50ies-, Mercedes 1017-trucks, some old MAN 5-tons-trucks and a plenty of VW T3-transporters and DoKa's.
This was my job: driving and cleaning VW T3's, also cleaning the floors, and even sleeping the day long....
You see, I didn't belong to the real active soldiers.
In our car-fleet we had several VW Iltis, VW Golf II Diesel, Mercedes G (new in 1990), our chief had an faboulous 70hp-Opel Rekord (facelifted 1983+ -model) and the General a 1983 Audi 100 with a also faboulous 75 hp-engine (but in glossy NATO-olive). And the Sanitary-platoon had still some 1975 VW 1200 in use.
I would have liked it more, if I could have been at the "Oldtimer-regiment" in Meppen, close to the Dutch border. A friend has been there in 1988/89. For any unknown reason the had a plenty of old cars there - even two K 70 have existed there! Very rare cars at the Bundeswehr.
His Major drove a 1972 VW 1600, and they were the last German regiment, which had Borgward-trucks in use...
Otherwise: Meppen is at the "ass of the world", so my regiment just 20 km away from home was better.

Thanks Neptune.
Interesting, the pic in the link actually looks like the same model loader/tractor.!
As you say, I'll have to try to catch one of our German friends to see if they can help.
A shame Alexander is not here, I guess he would have known straight away.!
update:-
After checking on a few more leads, I found this:- http://www.panzerbaer.de/helper/bw_pimasch_fag_02-5t-a.htm

Seems to be a German wheeled loader ...
http://www.hartziel.de/index.htm?/_typen/arbeitsmasch.htm
Another site also said they were used in the German army. One of our German users (Ingo, Germanneon or Animatronixx) will probably be of more help to you than I. Nice scale model though ...

I've deleted my previous search for the 'Sneaky Pete' custom truck. (nothing found and No response or any comments on it)

Let's see if there's anyone on the IMCDB with knowledge of these tractors now...
Released by Matchbox toys in their usual small scale 1-75 series (and as a kingsize)
You can find it listed and photo's of the Matchbox toys everywhere on internet searches, but there is No info on the Real tractors/loaders they made.! (I've tried all kinds of searches, wikipedia, google etc..) All I could find was one photo on common wiki with No info!
(photo's above from my collection)
Does anyone know anything about these tractors (country of origin, first year of manufacture etc...)
Any info gratefully recieved.
Thanks
Steve
