Maybe it was that? Nothing else that looks right in his credits from the 80s.

I saw a movie/tv programme in the early 80,s,in the UK, starring Jack Smethurst.His character had a crash in a Jensen Interceptor.
Anyone know the title to the programme?.Its been bugging me for ages:).
