Sadly, some of these types without pics were my oringinal contributions. If every movie, TV show, music video, documentary, and what not was readily available this issue would be very easy to solve.

OK, I suppose there's some purpose in having these blank entries. Although many are very vague with no year or anything, and some model names cover a number of decades (Ford Mustang, VW Golf etc.)

From the top of my head:

Probably a few others.

Which films/cars have you done this with, Sandie? Have you ever been disappointed to find out it was only a background car?
Sandie
They are quite useful for when someone is looking at cars they particularly like and find the blank and decide to complete the movie because of that. (which is something I've done quite a few times in the past, I wouldn't ordinarily have watched the movie had I not seen those blanks).
Along these lines I was thinking recently that it might be worth having a topic for movies that are blank, as of yet unlisted or listed just from a trailer that could be completed. A sort of hitlist.

These are old entries from the beginning of the site.
In a way these do not seem very useful, but at least something is listed for these movies: it is better than not having the movie at all.

While looking at Cadillac DeVilles, I noticed these:
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?make=Cadillac&model=DeVille&modelMatch=1&modelInclModel=- on
There's still a number of movie pages where no one's provided any info whatsoever, there's only vehicle listings with no star ratings or pictures. I don't think it's very useful unless maybe something unusual is listed. Is it OK to delete these? I just don't like clicking on a model name to find the list beginning with these blank entries.
Also it often tends to turn out that whoever entered it got the wrong model anyway.
