You are not forced to use IMDB as reference for episodes: if they are wrong, you can list episodes with another numbering and cite your source (e.g. wikipedia) so visitors can find to what the episode numbers correspond.

This dilemma is one of the reason's I've also refused to add Children's Hospital (2008-TV-Series). There are so many episodes listed incorrectly on IMDb, it'd take weeks for the administrators here to correct them.

It's okay to start a page and put a comment on that saying how you are unsure about the date. We have quite a few movies with ambiguous years (and it's most often by more than 1 year). Looks an odd thing whatever it is.

I've got a 1938-1939 Ford bus from the opening theme of the Latin American version of Sesame Street known as "Plaza Sésamo." IMDb claims the show was created in 1973, but both Wikipedia and the official Sesame Street website claims it was made in 1972. This is why I'm hesitant to add the show directly to the page right now. Nevertheless, here are some links, and an image for the show.
