Any clue to engine size? XJ6 would only be 4.2 (or 2.8 but I don't think that was sold in US) - other 4.2 were 64+ E-type (or XK-E in US), 64+ MkX, 420 and 420G - e-type the ony one with 3 carbs as standard, but easily upgraded from lesser versions. 3.8 has many possibilities - 3 carbs were 61-64 E-type, Mk2 3.8, XK150 SE and there was also the S-type (which I forgot above) with fewer carbs. 3.4 gives Mk2, S-type, ordinary XK150 and various earlier XK, 2.4 only gives Mk2 in 60s. 1960-67 Mk2 3.8 would be my best guess at the moment for numbers produced.

I will make a photobucket account tonight and post more pics.

I have more picture but I can't figure out how to add them. I can only add one? Maybe because I am new to the site.

It does have a Jag dohc six cylinder engine with 3 SU carbs.

Thanks for the reply,
dsl
XJ6 first launched Sept 68 so either (1) film is 69 onwards or (2) if a mid 60s film any Jag is earlier model. Apart from possibly the wheels (which might be 60+ Jag Mk2, 66+ 420 or 62+ E-Type, or might not) nothing obvious which looks Jag-like. Steering wheel looks old but not very Jag. Body is a bit like very early 60s Marcos on steroids - eg http://www.marcosjem.co.uk/history.html - but that's only a passing comment and not an identification. Any other photos?

Custom fiberglass body on a jaguar xj6 frame and running gear. Supposed to be from some beach party movie in the 60's. Never had any luck locating the movie. Any ideas?
