Well, I got such mails (those very few, which have passed the firewall) in many different languages, mainly in English, also in Italian or Dutch.

Why I've been sent an email in German, I have no idea.

This thread can be deleted now.

Yes, it's one of this scammer-shit.

Quite surprising: spelling and orthography of the text are correct - at the scammer-mails and other spam-junk, I got usually, the text is always totally misspelled, so obviously Google-translated or something like this.
rjluna2
Aha, owlman  Thanks for catching on this
owlman
Oops, I see. It's the typical scammer-scheme of using characters that look similar to fool spam text detection... like in this case the "r" in Kürzlich is not actually the Latin r, but the Cyrillic г.
G-MANN
It said it was from Paypal (who I have an account with) but it probably is just a scam.

Thanks rjluna, but given that there's quite a few Germans on this site, you could have just left it to them instead of typing it all into Google translate. But thanks anyway.
rjluna2
Haha, owlman. Try to copy/paste yourself and see what happens

When I manually type this in the Google translate

Hopefully you just copied/pasted it instead of manually typing it :clindoeil:
chicomarx
It's one of those e-mails that fishes for your bank details.
rjluna2
Hi G-Mann :hello:

When I manually type this in the Google translate, it spit out:
