Welcome back MBSL65fan. You have been gone for a while. Glad to see you are doing okay, and congrats on the new car! Looks really good, and sporty.

Indeed your username sounds familiar
Welcome back and congratulation for the Saab; I like that model, even if it is a rebadged Subaru rather than a true Saab

I remember you were a fan of Saab and Peugeot. So far I like it, but there has been a few issues that I've been having, such as a bad o2 sensor that kept causing the car to fail the California smog test, and now the turbo is worn out and is getting a new one. It's a big investment and I hope to keep it until it dies.

Hey guys! I haven't been on here in a long time, but here I am after not being on in a few years. A lot has changed with me and my family's car situation since then. So for those who remember me (hopefully some of you do ) last time I was on here, I was talking about bad luck with my Acura being keyed at the mall. It was eventually fixed, and I put on 18"s from the 04-08 Acura TL:
I only had the wheels on the car for six months because the wheels were rubbing against the wheel wells. There were too wide, so I had to put stocks back on.
Some of you might remember me talking about my mom's 2007 Cadillac STS. She sold the car after she had a near death experience in December 2009 and so she no longer felt safe driving it. She hydroplaned on the freeway during some bad rain. Also, it was owned by our company which we had to close and sell off its assets. My uncle bought the STS and still has it today. Since my mom sold it, she bought a 2010 Ford F250 Crewcab with the 6.4 Powerstroke Turbodiesel.
In October 2010, I finally learned how to drive stick on a white 1969 VW Bug that my mom and her boyfriend bought (sorry no pictures). We sold the car nine months later. I also got my Class M1 Motorcycle license at the same time.
In April 2012, I decided to purchase a 2nd car. A 1996 Infiniti G20 (which was not a smart choice, but an educational lesson).
I sold it a month later after getting the many issues it had fixed. I still had the Acura and I didn't want to sell it.
In July, I decided to buy a new car, which is what I have now. A 2005 Saab 9-2x Aero. The same thing as a Subaru Impreza WRX wagon.
I bought it for below blue book because it needed both mechanical and cosmetic work. It currently has 103k miles. Since I didn't want two cars, I sold the Acura in August with 110k miles for $3,500 to a guy who lived a few miles from me who was buying it as his son's first car. Here's the last picture I took after exchanging the title.
Other than that, I'm in college now and I'm aiming for a business major with some interest in getting involved in real estate. I'm sure there's some here that have joined while I've been off, but for those who remember me, How have you guys been, and what have I missed?
