We were not listing bikes, but should these electric bikes be considered as kind of mopeds?
Though that they probably do not have much interest for the site...

Electric bikes can be seen as mopeds, if they are declared and registrated as mopeds.

Otherwise a moped-plate is not the deciding topic for that - then we can also list E-scooters and electrical wheelchairs.

A new french Toyota. I don't think it will have a chassis code.

Don't laugh. Toyota France does a lot of product placement in french TV series ; I wouldn't be surprised if this cargo-bike appears sooner or later on screens.

Coming sooner or later as a Yakuza car, the new Toyota Century. It's a massive SUV, but they're not calling it Century SUV, just Century. Curiously, the official webpage is https://toyota.jp/centurynewbt/ but I don't know what that "BT" means.

Anyway, it looks horrible, with a strong whiff of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

Chassis code GRG75.

It seems to be both for now, but I believe they also do a relatively normal engined Cupra Leon so it's very confusing.

It's not interesting for me, so I dont follow the discussion, but I still havent understand, if the brand 'Cupra' stands for the sportive versions of the VW-Skoda-platform (so it was when the brand was introduced) or for full electric cars, as it seems now.

I live near a Seat/Cupra dealer and they've had pretty much the same row of unsold Cupra SUVs out the front for about a year. They didn't even update the mock up plates (NU72REG) when we changed to 23 plates 6 months ago. This takes some doing as new cars are in very short supply lately.

At least the Seat brand had some equity.

SEAT To Have New Role In The VW Group, Won't Replace Existing Cars

The original report from Autocar stated SEAT would stop making cars altogether at the end of the life cycle of current-generation models. We've revised the article to reflect the changes as SEAT is moving away from mainstream car-making to take up a new role.

Perhaps many of you have seen this coming ever since Cupra became a standalone brand, but the Volkswagen Group has announced SEAT will change its modus operandi. Speaking with Autocar at the 2023 IAA Mobility in Munich, the VW Group's CEO Thomas Schäfer said "a different role" is planned for the Martorell-based marque.

What could that be? SEAT stands for "Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo" (Spanish Touring Automobiles Company) but with next-generation cars out of the equation, the future is unclear. Autocar reports it could become a mobility company in the same vein as Renault's Mobilize. In fact, SEAT already has the MÓ lineup of electric scooters. Meanwhile, current cars will remain in production for several years but won't be directly replaced by next-gen models, at least not with a SEAT badge.

I'm not sure why though.
Maybe because it was also designed for the whole EU market?
We used that when it was a cooperation of several European countries, but if there is only one which is sure, we can use that one.

But we tend to say "Origin EU" rather than being country specific.
