It is my understanding that both Brazilian and German Beetles can be found there. I saw about a dozen of them, and the yellow one inthe picture was the only one with larger taillights.
Per Wikipedia, some Beetles were assembles in Manila as well.
Beetle sales in the Philippines stopped roughly around the same time that they did in the US. They do not have 1980s-90s Brazilian Bugs, but some of the 1960s-70s models were imported from there at some point.

I'd say, they are all Brazilian due the small windows and the oversized taillights and indicators.

We are still figuring out some of those Volkswagen [Typ 1] vehicles as you have shown here where they were made. Some of them are hybrid from Mexico/Brazil, but we don't have some proof :think:
