Actually, the ambulance looks more like a 1981-91 Chevrolet Blazer or GMC Jimmy.

The police-van is a Mercedes T1,

That's right, and the van next to it is a 2nd Generation Ford Transit.

Years ago, I read some Ford Mustang associated magazine claiming that Archie got a mid-1960's Mustang in the 1980's, after decades of driving that barely identifiable 1920's jalopy.

I had my first day of tenth grade today, and upon receiving my English book, I flipped it open and in one of the drawings on page 14, there was an unmistakable Rootes-jewel parked on the curb...

a) Opel Admiral B
b) VW Polo I (with Italian/Scandinavian side indicators)
c) Alfa Romeo 1750 or 2000
d) something generic. Vague similarity to a Ford 17 M [P7b] (bumper, headlights, chromated frame around the windscreen)

Hello! I've posted my last comment 63 days ago!
Now I have four cars taken from one of my comics. Plese, can you tell me their names?

The police-van is a Mercedes T1, the Renault a 1st gen Megane, the yellow car rather something British than American, the abulance indeed something Chevrolet/GMC-ish (Blazer?), the Jeep a CJ5 and the car on the last pic a Mercedes/Puch G-Modell with a faked grille.

Now it's too late in the night, but soon I'll continue to contribute real sightings, from our London-trip last week. Not really much, but hopefully some nice items for your enjoyment.
