Stumbled on this going on a few blocks from home in Glasgow's West End - apparently the next series of Outlander. Have seen local reports of filming nearby - apparently also the old part of Glasgow University campus as well. Main street is north end of Dowanhill St - seems using some of the houses, with the cars being mainly for outside scenery - with some cars waiting in Dowanside Rd. Filming episodes in 1930s and 1950s, so a mix or periods. Cars sit around for ages, then every so often they change the positions to vary what's seen from the house interior shooting. Likely some street shots as well because they've blacked out road markings and erected fake olde lamp-posts. Anyway - the cars (hopefully sorted/named correctly)
] Black Cadillac in side street
] Blue Chevy - VSK 749 listed as 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air (but some strange DVLA info eg Vehicle make CHEVROLET GMC Date of first registration 01 March 1992 Year of manufacture 1953 Cylinder capacity (cc) 2355cc)
] 1938 Chrysler Wimbledon, RHD. Lives near Stirling - owner said UK built at Kew plant from Canadian bits. Note blanket over steering wheel in last shot to disguise RHD. I wonder if they'll notice the AA badge in time ....
] Chrysler Windsor coupe (CSL 585 = 1947, 4100cc, registered in 1999 according to DVLA)
] Dodge - possibly Luxury Sedan grille badges. Front looks inspiration for Victor FB??
