The sun came out, so I went for a walk with our one remaining dog, and encountered 45699 running south on the West Coast main line just to the north of Shugborough tunnel at about 40 mph towing her support carriage. She was running in almost complete silence, the way a well maintained steam engine will do when being handled properly. What a bonus!
