Hi to everyone, and sorry in advance for my English. I am Jetse00 on the site, and navigating through it, I had an idea I would like to share.
What do you think about creating a sort of database here on the forum of what car was sold in what market to use it when identifying cars? Of course I don't mean doing that for every single car for obvious reasons, but it could be an useful things for unusual and lesser obvious cars, for example American cars officially sold in Europe, Eastern European cars in Western Europe (even viceversa when possible), some Asian cars in Europe or old European cars (like Lancia, Peugeot or MG, not the usual ones) in the USA. It could be used also for local names or versions, motors, or other info.
I for myself can provide info from price list of Italian car magazines of late 80s, 90s and 00s.
Some examples of what I mean: Which euro markets got Suzuki and which Santana or Maruti, Which American Ford or GM were sold in a certain market, What versions of Chrysler group cars were exported, What export market had Innocenti, When Hyundai or Kia started exporting in a given country and what was sold, if and what Lada exported to France or Italy, etc..
Feel free to despise my proposal
