Which cars do you find ugliest as in styling, how it looks?

For me
1. Fiat Coupe
2. Chrysler PT Cruiser
3. Dodge Neon
4. Pontiac Aztec
5. Chevrolet Lumina APV / Pontiac Gran Sport
6. Fiat Multipla

I can't think of anything else

I like the styling of the PT Cruiser.

I'd go for:

-Pontiac Aztek
-Any Bangle-era BMW
-Citroen DS
-1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser
-1970 Pontiac full-size lineup
-The upcoming Nissan Skylines
-Lotus Europa
-Just about any Chrysler product made in 1961 and 1962
-Scion xB (and almost any other Japanese market "cube car" like it)
-Pretty much anything built by the former Soviet union, with the exception of those '50s Packard rip-off Chaikas (beauty by association).

I consider styling to be a minor offense, anyway: There are several cars on that list (mainly the older ones) that I'd still be glad to drive.

The DS is usually considered as the most beautiful one, not the ugliest one

There are not many car that I find ugly, but I'd list these:
- Fiat Multipla, the one of the 90s
- Ssangyong Actyon (and the Rexton & Rodius)
- Subaru B9 Tribeca (before the restyling)
- Plymouth Prowler
- Nissan Micra, the current one
- Ford Scorpio mk2
- Lancia Thesis

Right now, I do not find other regular-production cars...

I hesitate to put the Mercedes W221 as It is not _so_ ugly.
There may be many old ones that I do not think to.

There was a time I would have listed the Ferrari Enzo, but I think that I am used to it, it seems me less ugly than before.

I did not include concept cars, though that there are many that I find ugly.

Don't get me wrong...I'd love to drive a DS. I just don't consider them attractive...AT ALL.

I forgot about the Edsel-grilled Subarus, especially the B9...GAH!

There are some cars I think are uglier, Citroen's DS and AMC's Pacer for examples, but their looks give them more character (imo).

For the Scorpio I guess you mean the mk2? (the one with strange front & back)

- Mazda 626 1983+

- Mercedes 190

- BMW 7 series (the actual)

- Subaru XT

- Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible

- Toyota Yaris

- all actual US-made Pick-up-trucks (the classic ones from the 70ies are nice)

- Toyota Prius (the actual one)

- Toyota Corolla from the mid-80ies

- all British trucks from the 60ies, Scammell, Foden etc.

- Ford Anglia

- the most British vans from the 60ies

- all Cadillacs since the 70ies

- Chrysler 300


A lot of more, it's just the result of a few seconds brainstorming.

Which Chrysler 300? I can't think of any, save for possibly the Cordoba-based 1979 model, that could be called ugly.

And what's so bad about the Mercedes 190? They just looked like a smaller version of every other Mercedes sedan built during the same time period.

I like most cars and find something attractive about them, but I could name a few that are outright and undisputably wrong-looking. I am not speaking of my personal taste, they are objectively wrong and there's no arguing

1. Recent Mercedes designs - S-Klasse & C-Klasse (don't know if the interior or exterior is worse)

2. Buick Rendezvous - the Aztek doesn't even come close, the RV is absolutely the worst GM has EVER made!

3. Chrysler Sebring (current) - if you can find an uglier car, buy it!

4. A&S Cadillacs, especially the CTS - both previous and new

5. CSVs - somebody @ GM decided horrible engineering deserves horrible packaging

6. upcoming Lancia Delta HPE - brand resurrection by launching a tapir-shaped car???

7. almost all Iran-designed cars but the Samand

8. The last Anadol (forgot its name)

9. The Packard revival from sometime ago

10. The last Chrysler Imperial concept (aka combine harvester meets pimp my Rolls)

How could I have forgotten the 1980s Mitsubishi Debonair, an ungainly cross between a Renault 21 and a 1984 Ford Tempo, a car so disgusting that it upscale pretentions are more of a faux pas than a joke....



I wasn't aware of the existence of the model for a very long time, as the Japanese were most obviously ashamed of it and photos of it are still hard to come accross...

Yes, the older models weren't too bad. It was those really round ones that were ugly.
