The 1980s (don't know exact date) movie "The Tommyknockers" (Stephen King novel) featured a 1974 Ford Maverick, 4-door, tan, family sedan. The Maverick plays a significant role in the movie, not just a cameo appearance, and is central to much of what happens.

I know all about the car because I was the original owner and sold it to the film company which shot the film near Auckland, New Zealand (where I live).

Presumably there are photos from the movie available. If not, I have one or two shots of the vehicle when it was in my possession which I could make available for the web site.

Thanks, I'll add the car to the site. Maybe it would be possible to find images from the movie, but if you have some it would be easier of course. On the site we usually only put pictures taken from the movie itself.
