245 GL 2.1
343 DL
66 GL 1.3
b BERTONE

and a current state picture: http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/3149/08022010125.jpg

So in case anyone have something I do not have yet, I am opened to offeres. As for prices - negotiable, of course the lesser the better  but in case of some rarities (245T, 264TE etc.), the price is of course higher. I am buying these on ebay mostly for 1-3 € for piece.
The older models - Amazon and older, are sometimes more expensive.

I am collecting as well VIN-plates (chassis plates) - used of course.

As well I am interested in Volvo brochures, but those are sometimes annoyingly expensive on ebay..

contact: viktor.farar@gmail.com

thanks for any help in advance

If it would be o.k. for wickey, I have a suggestion: wouldn't it be senseful, if this thread would be widenend as the "IMCDB-member's collector's pinboard" or similar? Then we don't need to open own threads.

Many of us (most of us? ) have their own car-related hobby and would probably be happy about help or "contributions". So I'm very thankful about the nice and rare stuff, I got from Animatronixx and Raul1983.
And as I've promised, I'll look around for things, which could be interesting for others of us. For example on classic-car-markets, which I'm visiting sometimes.

@wickey: I'll keep the 80ies Volvo-key-bag for you :wink:
@chicomarx: same with the SAAB-bag for you.

About my special interest it's probably no neccessary to accentuate it again...
I would be very happy, if someone of you would let me know, if he has found car-magazines from the early 70ies, which includes something about the K 70. Test drives, articles or just advertises, everything would be fine.
I've seen, that even in countries, where the K 70 wasn't exported, there were articles about it. So I own two car-magazines from the USA, three from Australia and two from the DDR, which includes something.

Last weekend I've finished to assort my literature-collection. I've lost the overview a time ago. Now there is the big work to list my handwritten notices correctly, so that I can take it with me on markets. And the "still to find"-list, too, where I've remarked the stuff, I couldn't get at eBay for example.

Why do I have to decide for that? Do what you find the best
Or maybe I could add a section for such things, for what people search & offer, so each one car make a topic.

Can be a general category too, there aren't too many.
How do I call that section?

I want to avoid sell/buy as it would quickly be a market place, it should be more something "friendly", rather exchange place or something like that

I'll continue.

I've collected many years of the German classic car magazine "Oldtimer Markt", but I think, there is no sense to keep all of them. I'll not read them any more again. So I'll keep the interesting issues for me and give away the rest (two 1/2 years were lost anyways, when water was leaking on them). I can offer the issues from 1990 to now, perhaps some older, too.
I've found a list in the WWW:
http://www.vfmz.com/vfmz_cms/html/motor-on/otm/download/otm_gesamtinhalt.pdf

Until now the issues with articles about license-plates are picked out, also the two issues about a guy in the DDR, who drove a Citroen DS (for DynaMike)

Sure, it's all in German, but maybe there are some guys around, who are collecting everything about "their" cars in any language, even if they don't understand it. As me for example...

O.k., I just have decided to make the same offer with my "Oldtimer Praxis"-magazines. They are complete from the first in April 1990 until now.

http://www.vfmz.com/vfmz_cms/html/motor-on/otp/download/otp_gesamtinhalt.pdf

There was the article about the DDR-Citroen. I've looked in the other list and was going mad, because I couldn't find it. :ohwell:

Any issues about the Mustang?
Ford Mustang (USA) (Historie) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .10/94 . . .28
Ford Mustang I (USA) (Titel) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .06/87 . . .144
Ford Mustang: 40 Jahre (Titel) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .04/04 . . .10

Also, in Germany, do you have Ford Mustang toys/models badged as T-5's?

O.k., I've separated them four you. The details we should discuss in private messages. You have 300 grams "free" - o much weight I can add for the same postage.

Issue 4/04 unfortunately is lost, this was destroyed by leaking water. But I've found three other Mustang-related issues, which I can add.
- first buyer's guide 12/86
- "Nachgehakt" - a writer test the cars, offered in their own advertises from 8/05

And two issues of the "Oldtimer Praxis", one restoration report (4/09) and a real interesting story "First hand" (8/97), about a lady from Heidelberg, who owns a Mustang Fastback since the 3.November 1965 - she won all the "best original"-prizes on Classic Ford-meetings in the 90ies.
There are written some interesting details about the T5. This car was ordered in the USA by her husband, an US-GI, but imported as German version. The specific German stuff was, that there are some Mustang-horse-logo's on and in the car, but no badge, where "Mustang" was written. This was not allowed then. And for the German market (the high Autobahn-speed) there was a cross-piece in the front. The US-Mustang-Club has said, this is extremely rare, just 24 T5 with that part are known.
Strange, that many other parts were US-spec. Because the owner was a GI, it was running with US-plates, but when he quit the army, it got German plates - and many problems with the TÜV, because they haven't accepted a lot ot details.

About specific toy-models I don't know anything. I even don't know, if there were some German toy-brands, which have made Mustang-toys. The foreign-toys, Matchbox, Hot Wheels or so, will probably not have changed the names, not the boxes or blister-packing either.
Better we should ask the toy-experts. I'm not sure about that.

That's a good idea
I've many car brochures from the 70's to the 90's which i'd prefer to trade/swap for toy cars, rather than sell.

wickey, I had added three Volvo brochures (1965, 1973 & 1977/78 '343') to this site:- http://storm.oldcarmanualproject.com/
I'd be tempted to trade them for good toy cars

Oh, I forgot this SIKU-toy. I've never owned it in my childhood...
I think, it's named wrong in the auction, because these later Mustangs weren't called T5 over here.
Yes, it's very expensive, but NOS-toys from the 70ies in undamaged blister-packs indeed have such prices.

Hmm, I must ask around for it. Do you want to have a NOS one or an used one?
I have some connections to that guy: http://www.automodelle-hoeing.de/sys-seitenid,13/langid,2/
He's living not far away and I've organized a time ago really rare stuff from Japan and China for him. Let's see, if I can arrange something.

Btw.: is actual Mustang-stuff interesting for you? Maybe I can ask the small Ford-dealer in our village: http://www.autohaus-boewing.de/
Until now I've seen only two US-Ford's here, two actual Mustang's, he's using as company car. Maybe he has some Mustang-related stuff.
But obviously no toys. I cann see a Mustang at "Ford Boutique". Anyways, it's always useful to ask around.

I also can ask the dealer in the next town: http://www.autohaus.ford.de/mohag/dorsten/

@wickey: MOHAG has also Volvo. Shall I look for Volvo-stuff? I think, it will not me much different from the stuff at you dealer, but you never know it before. Or are you only interested in older, classic Volvo's?
