The Sultan of Brunei has almost 4,000 car's, so if you had $2 Million Dollars what car;s would you spend it on
RULES
1. All cars made after 2000 must be priced at however much they were priced new
2. All cars pre-2000 can be priced new or used BUT if used it must be in at least near perfect condition
3. the most expensive, least expensive and any cars you have multiples of must be bolded and underlined
4. If car's are not sold in Dollars the price must be at the converted rate

I know that one of them would be a manual transmission TD 1991 Mitsubishi Pajero straight from Japan converted to LHD. I would have to think about the color combination though. Not sure on the prices in Japan.
A manual blue and white slightly lifted first-generation Ford Bronco with removable hardtop. With added black leather seats, nice speakers, ac/heat etc. $20,000 or more?
1971 blue Chevrolet Chevelle with black racing stripes like the one at the end of Shooter except manual transmission. $25,000?
That's a start. I have a lot of money left

I would by myself a fleet of old taxi's and police cars from the US to use as movie props, as well as a few extras for daily drivers.
Stuff like old Caprices, Impala's, Belvedere's, LTD's, Coronet's, Fury's, Monaco's, and those old 1968-74 Ford Fullsize models.
For my #1 car, I would buy a 1986 Nissan F31 Leopard. Those things are too cool!

Why this cobblework and not the original? The whole originality will be gone.
In Japan older, domestic made cars are cheap. Just note the hundreds of thousands of used Japanese cars per year, shipped to Russia, New Zealand, Ireland, many African countries and some more.
It's lucrative due the price differential.
Import cars, especially premium brands, are more expensive in Japan.

It will be difficult to find a car that old in Japan. Due to their legislation it is hard to get the licensing for older cars. That is why so many Japanese cars older than a couple of years old get imported here to the UK. We love our strange 4x4s and MPVs here.
For me I'd spend all my money buying the kind of old bangers noone wants. In particular unusual ones and especially Rovers with maybe the odd Alfa or SAAB thrown in. Maybe a Range Rover and a Lotus Evora to fulfill my other needs.

@ Ingo I would have a first-generation too as well as my Montero restored. I wouldn't change my worn leather seats or the rip in my driver's seat they add personality. The restoration would be mostly if not all mechanically.

Might as well make a serious attempt:
New Cars
2011 Maserati Gran Cabrio $157 980
2011 Mercedes E-350 Coupe $48,850 (though I'd prefer one of the Euro diesel versions)
2011 Aston Martin Rapide $199,950
2011 Audi A8 L $84,000 (Again would choose diesel but not sold in USA)
2011 Audi R8 V10 Spyder $172,800
2011 Chevrolet Camaro LS $22,680 (Steel wheels on this model are cool)
2010 Ferrari 458 Italia $225,325
2011 Land-Rover Range Rover $94,615
2011 Lotus Evora $64,000
2012 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible $38,045
2011 Peugeot RCZ GT200 $42,642
2011 MEV Rocket M225 $26,648
Classics/Used Cars
1971 Jensen Interceptor SIII $40,000 (Slightly high estimate based on UK prices)
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS $88,990 (Based on: http://www.oldride.com/classic_cars/131010.html)
1997 Rover 820 Vitesse Sport Coupe $3,000 (Despite being for that market never sold in US)
SAAB 900 Turbo $5,000 (Not really fussed about year)
AFAIK I'm well under (Probably at least $1/2 million) so this can go on any other classics that catch my eye or maybe some old bangers.
It would be grand to be so rich.
