MOVIE: The Deadly Tower - A.K.A. Sniper (1975)

I recently found a VHS copy of a movie called "Sniper" staring Kurt Russell, depicting the 1966 Texas University tower shooting spree of Charles Whitman.
A bit of research showed the movie to be a made for TV movie originally titled "The Deadly Tower", and to have been made in 1975.

The movie features a variety of automobiles (not all correct for the 1966 setting), and would be a fun addition to the IMCDB site. I am unable to create or post screen shots, and in any case the quality of my VHS copy is very poor. It is difficult to find a replacement copy as the movie is out of print and rare to begin with.

Would any IMCDB members out there have the chance to include this movie on the site?

Mycroft.

If I knew how to snag images of vehicles from VHS tapes, and any other types of videotapes, I'd grab them myself.

Easiest solution is to record from VHS to DVD-RW using a DVD recorder like if you were recording from TV (then you can play the DVD on the computer like a normal DVD movie), but the resulting quality is of course not great.

That may be my only option, and that is IF another copy of the tape could be found. It turns out that the tape was damaged and stuck together in places.
Oh well, it was only 33 cents.
