It's a crossover/SUV, not a wagon.

It replaces the wagon version of the 206 & 207
As we don't have a crossover category, which one is the closest?
Or maybe it is a sign that we really need to add that category?

I think we should add a crossover category. However, that would mean a bunch of the Off/Road SUV, Wagon, and Van/MPV may need to be changed to fit this category.

Chassis-Code "[DN]" for all 1998-2003 Dodge Durango.

Also for these two vehicles with the year "1998":

All Mercedes-Benz trucks of the SK range with MY 1988 actually have to get the MY 1989:

Google "Mercedes-Benz SK88" and you'll get a ton of pictures. Some real ones, and many 1/87 models too.

Google "Mercedes-Benz SK89" and you'll get almost nothing.

Also, about a crossover category. Is it me or is "crossover" an english-speaking thing ? In French, we call them SUVs.

Are you kidding me? I thought we use the official model years and not the year when it was released. If we trust the common search results by Google we could change everything. :kneu_oh: The SK was released in July 1988 and sold some weeks after what means MY 1989!! And Daimler AG officially calls it 'SK 89'!!

So I don't understand your comment. No 'normal' people talks about model years but about the year it was released. We talk about model years and other professional terms on our site, so please...

And especially toy and model car makers don't use our way to list their cars, for example:
Herpa: VW Passat (B8) Variant, 2014; IMCDb: 2015 Volkswagen Passat Variant B8 [Typ 3G]
Minichamps: Audi V8 1988-1994; IMCDb: 1989 Audi V8 D1 [Typ 4C]...

I hope you understand my point.

I didn't know exactly when in 1988 the SK was launched, so I understand.

But you probably know I've nevr been a fan of those model years, especially when plate data sites contradict them.

Ok, then please excuse my probably rough words. Now everything is explained and antp could change it. I'm not always a big fan of MY, too, especially when you're talking with others and they say: "Wait a second, that car already appeared one year earlier!" And some sites give only the year the vehicle was released and not a month, so it's difficult which MY it is. So I think there are many cars listed under a wrong year on IMCDb...

I don't know, I think I often heard "crossover" too... Or maybe "SUV urbains"

Please remove the "Built in USA" tag for these 2007-2016 Honda CR-Vs. As I have pointed out many times, the North American market did not sell CR-Vs from just the USA. It's even pointed out here on wikipedia:

"To meet demand, Honda shifted some Civic production from East Liberty, Ohio to Alliston Plant #2, Ontario[6] (where some Pilot, Ridgeline and Odyssey production was located until production was consolidated at Honda's Lincoln, Alabama facility) to free up space for additional CR-V production. Currently, the East Liberty plant is building 400 CR-V models a day for the Canadian and US markets. The U.S. market CR-V models are imported primarily from Sayama, Saitama, Japan and El Salto, Jalisco, Mexico in increasing numbers."

Production for the RM generation was also spread out from the US, Canada and Mexico.

I still have to research the present generation (2017+ RW). Wiki shows two plants in the US and one in Mexico, but I'm not sure if those are reaching the US market yet.

http://www.imcdb.org/search.php?resultsStyle=asList&sortBy=0&yearFrom=2007&yearTo=- 2016&makeMatch=2&make=honda&modelMatch=1&model=cr-v&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=on&mk=&origin=&madein=US&madefor=&role=

I also want to undo the Honda Civic and Accord, as well as several Toyota models, but I'll only ask for one at a time. People keep slapping "Built in USA" on these even though production for the US market comes from several plants.

Honda Accord is my next one, specifically the 1984-2008 sedan and hatchback models. Looks like the magic year when they finally became all US-made was 2010.

Here are some of the Japanese-made 2008-2009 that I found:
https://www.easyexport.us/en/27999309-2008-honda-accord_exl/
https://www.easyexport.us/en/61578009-2008-honda-accord_exl/
https://www.easyexport.us/en/59297129-2008-honda-accord_lxp/
https://www.easyexport.us/en/59379329-2008-honda-accord_ex/
https://www.easyexport.us/en/53998299-2009-honda-accord_lx/
https://www.easyexport.us/en/55876129-2009-honda-accord_lx/
https://www.easyexport.us/en/59573759-2009-honda-accord_exl/

They made up probably about 17-20% of the total checked, with the bulk being US-made, but they still show that "Built in USA" is not a given these years. FRom 2010 on, the only non-US models found were Hybrids through 2017.

For the MB, Exiv96 seemed not really agreeing.
For the Golf where was that? Maybe there were also comments/remarks?
