There were some funny looking electric cars used in the 1982 movie Computercide. They are CitiCars made by Sebring-Vanguard, Inc., Sebring, Fl. There were only 2100 or so of these cars made from 1974 to 1978. A dealer in California provided about 7 of them for the movie.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHHeXnAePCw It is on Youtube at this URL. The original title is The Final Eye when shown on TV in 1977. I believe it was released on Video in 1982 as Computerside. It is listed in the IMDB as Computerside but the original title brings you to the same listing.
