Ford assembly outside country of origin

As we're having various discoveries/list compilations of Fords built in strange places, probably worth just listing the pages where these are being discussed for quick reference

Ford Rhodesia 1961-67 (now Zimbabwe)
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=782802

Ford Singapore
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=776565

Ford Venezuela
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=111802

Ford Israel 1968-81+ (uncertain end date)
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=91105

Ford Taunus mid-60s to mid-70s
http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=644619
(plus side comments about RHD sources in http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=266948 and http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=730421 )

Ford Cortinas - my best list from various sources. All other info welcome - this might be an evolving task rather than definitive.
- Ireland (Cork) - Mk2-5 confirmed, Mk1 unknown but likely
- NL (Amsterdam) - Mk2 & Mk3 only. Main production site (alongside Dagenham) for 1969-70 1600E 2-door, which was EU export only - no RHD officially made (although a few "happened" - no more than 30 max) and not sold in UK.
- Belgium - [1] Antwerp - some early assembly of Mk1, unknown if Mk2 or later [2] Genk - Mk4 and Mk5 (basically just rebadging of Taunus TC2 and TC3, plus Genk was only source for UK of Mk5 2.3 V6 versions and of Mk5 2 door versions - these were very rare in UK and only sold as 1300/1600 base and L models; most were used for Motability disabled schemes, but a supply of 2 doors in various trims/engines was also essential for the Crayford Mk5 convertibles - 30 made - Crayford did the design and Carbodies built them. The 35 Mk4 convertibles were built inhouse by Crayford)
- Portugal (Mk4/5 confirmed; earlier Marks unknown, but this Mk3 Estate suggests probable assembly))
- Malta (Mk2 definite, unknown if any Mk1 or Mk3)
- Australia (Mk1-5)
- NZ (Mk1-5; one small reference found that Mk1 estates were not built in NZ but UK imports, but no other confirmation found)
- South Africa (Mk1-5; includes all Pickup/P100 production Mk3-5)
- Rhodesia (1964-67 - definitely Mk1, unknown if any Mk2)
- Taiwan (Mk3-5 confirmed, unknown if anything earlier)
- Indonesia (Mk3-4 confirmed, others unknown; Mk3 had slightly unusual grille
- Korea (as Hyundai, Mk2 onwards)
- Vietnam (details unknown - regard as provisional reference)
- Thailand (Mk1-3 confirmed, Mk4/5 unknown)
- Philippines (Mk2-5, not Mk1)
- Singapore/Malaysia (Mk2-5, possible Mk1 as well but info unclear)
- Pakistan (listed from 1967-81, start/end dates and Marks unknown but Mk2-5 seem likely; another sources says early 60s build by Ali Automobiles of Karachi of 1500, which suggests Mk1 was built as well)
- Venezuela (Mk2 confirmed, other Marks unknown)

Nothing Cortina found for other Ford UK sites eg Turkey, Israel, Costa Rica, or any other S American production (eg Peru)

Adding a note about Portugese Cortinas - seen today in Glasgow a white Cortina Mk4 1.6L estate, VRL 575S, perfectly ordinary looking, correct badges on tailgate ..... but LHD. Tracked it down online - it's for sale locally for £15,995 - a recent import from Portugal with only 3500 miles.

We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided

More Ford info - list of factories around world in 1931:

I have a book published in 1931 to celebrate the newly built Ford plant at Stockholm free port, at which assembly took place until 1956. It also lists all the Ford plants in Europe (apart from the already mentioned one at Stockholm): Antwerp (Belgium), Asnieres-Paris (France), Barcelona (Spain), Berlin (Germany), Cork (Ireland), Helsinki (Finland), Cologne (not yet finished, Germany), Copenhagen (Denmark), Manchester (England), Rotterdam (Netherlands) and Trieste (Italy).

It also said that the biggest Ford plant in Britain* was the one in East Windsor (Ontario), Canada, with a yearly production of about 150.000 units, but that would soon be outnumbered by the one planned at Dagenham (England) with an estimated production of about 200.000 units.

* = Canada was still part of British Empire at this point, but only for a few more months.
