My house has a three car garage. Most of the houses in my neighborhood have at lease a two car, but since we mostly use our garage for storage we only have room to fit our full sized car.
Fortunately we have a laundry room which gives us more garage space. 
Also when I said garages I meant the size in Europe, But if you have an apartment, yes space is limited.
