For me it depends on the make, not the parent corporation. Maybe the title should be "Which American motor corporation is the best?" If we're just talking about the corporations in general rather than which brands I like most, I don't have any real preference, I've never worked for any of them. They're all monolithic corporations, their main purpose is simply to make money, and they've all done bad things in the past. GM closed down it's factories in Flint, Michigan so they could build cars in other countries at a cheaper cost (they weren't even in financial difficulty at the time), which ruined the local economy in Flint (see Michael Moore's Roger & Me) and Ford once had a policy of paying compensation settlements to the victims of crashes their cars were involved in instead of fixing the design flaws that were responsible for the casualties, because it was cheaper. That was just evil.
