Ha. Well, I used to be terrible on this subject (I got all upset after any Ford Tempo or Mercury Topaz was destroyed in a film). Now, eh. The percentage of Tempo's and Topaz' destroyed in film is very small when you think that there are over three million of them around. This is actually the same with some of the other cars I am fond of, like the Ford Crown Victoria and LTD, the Ford Explorer and Ford F-Series. They are all very common cars. I'd obviously would be annoyed if they wrecked a rare variation of one of those cars (like the 2003 Ford F-150 Heritage Edition), but thus far I haven't seen them do it.

In some cases, like antp pointed out, it is good that cars get destroyed. The 1958 Plymouth has become very popular and sought after because of Christine (even though two dozen or so '58 Plymouth's were destroyed for the film).
