(...to be quite frank: I also wondered why there is no linkage between the forum and the site - i.e. when you click a user-name in the site you get to the "profile" - when you click it in the forum, you sometimes get no/different information... .)
Actually the forum is hosted on a different server, and not made nor managed by me (the current site structure/code was made by at 95%)
So there aren't internal links between the two, unlike what many site do in similar cases. This is a little annoying indeed.
