I never see this film listed in any of the "best car movies" (or even "worst car movies") listings, it's almost like it was never made.
Starring a pre-LA Law Harry Hamlin, and Dennis Hopper, it's set in the late 70s street-racing scene on Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles. It's a pretty good film, but looks quite dated now. Some of the driving sequences are still quite impressive though.
