In no particular order:

1. Land Rover 109" Series III
2. Toyota Previa ('93 one)
3. Volkswagon Kubelwagon

Land Rovers I have loved since I was a small boy, and the 109" Series III has consistently been my favorite (109" ones in general I like better than the shorter ones). My love of Landies can be attributed to endless viewings of Sheena growing up. Most people watched it for Tanya Roberts, or perhaps the animals or the beautiful African scenery. Me? I watched it for the army trucks the bad guys used. And at the head (and bringing up the rear, too) was a good old 109" Series III Landy.

My love of the Toyota Previa stems from Last Action Hero. Most might prefer the red Ford pickup from that chase sequence, but I'll always remember the sleek, black Previa being the only one of the two "bad guy" cars to have the guts to follow Arnold into the riverbed (while the gutless pickup remained on the bridge - no offense to Ford fans), and attempt to replicate his death-defying stunt. It failed miserably, providing my favorite sight gag in the film alongside the T-1000 cameo, but at least it tried. It helped that our neighbors had a Previa, too, so it's a van I looked at a lot as a young adult.

I dunno what it is about the Kubelwagon that makes me love it so much. Unlike the Series III Landy and the Previa, there isn't any one specific movie I can name as a result of my unabiding love of this little German car, WWII cousin to the Beetle. But love them I do, and I hate seeing them destroyed, even if they are mockups like the one in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (I always feel so sorry for it, what with its pitiful little "ah-ooga!" horn just before it hits the tank). Unlike the Landy and the Previa, the Kubel isn't a car I would particularly want to own, per se, but it's certainly one I never, ever get tired of seeing in films.
