Well if you are refering to the Caprice than yes, it is quite different, but the smaller Commodore seems almost unchanged from the Euro Omega:
the other one i like a lot too is the Chevy Omega different front but still very similar to the Omega B, very nice.

Did you know that there is another Omega/Commodore variant sold in the Middle East branded as the Chevrolet Lumina and Caprice?
They even use the Lumina as a police car in Dubai (also note the 1991 Caprice in the background, those are popular there also
