It's just never a good idea to casually reveal your address and other personal details over the internet (unless you're talking to someone in private via email or something), you never know who's watching. There's a lot of identity theft going on.

I only ever give my address to an individual on the internet when I've bought something off them on ebay, so they can post it to me. But I tell them through a private email, not on a public forum.



You mean you'll get a kick from your wife. In English to "get kicks" is slang for having fun or getting pleasure out of something.
