Internet settings haven't been changed since long time and in the past everything was ok.
The server has changed; on the old server it was Apache 1.x, now it is Lighttpd. So anything special on your side (i.e. if you do not have a plain standard connection without any filter) may be a hint on what happens. The new server may not like something on your system, or vice-versa.
