The one who originally created the site made a list from info found on internet.
I joined the project when he already had a few hundreds cars listed, maybe not many with pictures.
The first one for which I submitted pictures is Ronin (only the few main cars, at that time), so it is my first movie, and amongst the first pictures I suppose. But for example just before that, someone submitted the main car picture for Training Day. This is the start of the history of the site from my point of view
