The end of Belgian plates

Belgian custom plates must have 1 to 8 characters, with at least 1 letter. This plate is therefore street legal, as said in the caption

Names of political parties are also banned, but the person in charge only knows about the belgian political landscape, because I've seen "AKP" and "IYI" plates - two turkish parties - in Brussels, a few years ago.
As if that person never had access to Google and Wikipedia...

Knowing that the person threw away €1000 all these plates look pretty stupid, and if it gets stolen that's that, no duplicates.

To include abbreviations of foreign political parties, would be idiotical - finally you would find for any abrevation somewhere a bad meaning.
In Germany abbreviations with Nazi-Content are banned (SS, SA, HJ, KZ and NS for example). But in the actual hyper-grotesque medial hysteria in some counties you cannot get letters with neo-nazi content as AH (Adolf Hitler), HH (Heil Hitler) and even that codes in numbers, as 18 and 88.
This goes for the letters after the codes for town or county (HH and AH are used location codes).
About actual political parties there are no restrictions.
In the 90ies in Regensburg it was not possible for a while to get R-EP due the far right-wing party "Republikaner", but this Nazi-combo is already extinct, so nowadays noone knows the meaning any more.
In Stuttgart and Bad Segeberg it's possible to have S-EX/SE-X, but in Pinneberg you cannot get PI-SS - due the SS.
Sometimes people try to make a lot of money on eBay with plates from Fürth -FÜ-CK-, but I cannot imagine, that some idiots are paying 150 € or so for such junk.
I have the chance to tease people in the Zone, the former DDR, with WES-SI (a mainly bad name for arrogant and boastful West Germans), but I'm satisfied with my WES-IM, as the abbreviation IM means something bad for East Germans:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unofficial_collaborator
In the 90ies there were some counties, which issued CC and CD on regular plates (German diplomatic plates didn't have these letters).
This was irritating for many border officers and policemen in other countries
I remember stunned Swedish border guards when we entered the country with our shabby 32B-Passat with H-CC
And in Holland I have been the star of show with this "diplomatic" plate

P.S. a true story: in the Yugoslavian war in the 90ies two truckers from Siegburg near Bonn were killed due their license plates:
the SU made some idiots think, that they are Soviet Russians.

Is this plate legal?
In Germany you get in trouble, when you make changes on plates, even on the blue Euro-bar on the left. It's a forgery of a document, because valid (with the silver county sticker seal on) plates are documents here.
Most common is, to put a little round sticker of football clubs in the Euro wreath of stars.
And there are Nazis, who cover the Euro bar with black-white-red stickers.

It's not legal but that's not stopping anyone here, she's a politician for N-VA.
"And there are Nazis, who cover the Euro bar with black-white-red stickers."
But the eurozone is the German empire they dreamed about, they should love it.

Huh, NVA is an abbreviation, which in Germany is not communicable:

No, our Nazi- and right-wing-morons dislike the Euro and the Eurozone, the EU at all. They want to have the D-Mark and demarcated nations back.
We have also a kind of separatist party in Germany - but separatism in a different way:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_PARTEI
we (I'm an active member) want to have back the German partition - but from the other side
My recent trip to Brussels was for this purpose. We had our regional party conference there

(our local association Brussels belongs to Northrhine-Westphalia)

Wait, why do you want to rebuild the wall? Is it just completely satirical? Wikipedia says you also want a war with Liechtenstein. (easy win I should think)
Isn't the AFD a better prospect? It being on the right attracts some far-right fringe but that doesn't mean they should control the whole party.

Sure, the project of rebuilding The Wall is meant satirically - but due several incidents and election results in the Zone (= Cold War speech for the former DDR) we get more and more seriously meant support of the people in West Germany.
We are so fed up with these uneducated, undemocratical Nazi morons
No, the AfD is absolutely not discussable. It's clearly and for 100% a Nazi party.
The more (Western) educated and wealthy the people are, the less they vote them.
Especially in the West it is definitely a party for the uneducated precariat.
My PARTEI is rather located on the left, but with an elitist approach.
We have no connections to working class or precariat concerns.

For the front, isn't it legal? As it is just a copy of the front made by the owner?
Or are there now more strict rules for that copy?

Maybe the police is easier about the front but normally it's the same rules.
The traffic code says "no manipulations" to the plate "and her reproduction":

Now another question: how accurate must be the reproduction of the plate?
The end of Belgian plates
Published 22/11/2019 @ 01:55:23, By chicomarx
Very accurate. The red for the reproduction must be RAL 3003 and not any red.
That's one of the rules for the shops since 2010, because with the introduction of euro plates the DIV was planning to deliver both plates and do away with reproductions. After complaints they managed to keep their business but what they're selling really has to be standardized.
