Indeed I suppose that even while Estonia was part of the USSR, the language spoken there was Estonian with Latin alphabet?
Estonian SSR had de facto two languages, Estonian(with Latin alphabet) and Russian. There was definitely some Russification but overall Estonian was widely used and taught in schools to most Estonians(some schools were Russian language only and Russian was taught in all schools) as a native language.
Most movies from this time have Original Title in Estonian but dubbing(and Russian/Alternative? Titles) was very common.
