1969 - 1974: Shinjin Motor Industry Co., Ltd. (신진자동차공업㈜)

1974 – March 1979: Shinjin Jeep Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. (신진지프자동차공업㈜)

March 1979 – March 1981: Shinjin Motor Co., Ltd. (㈜신진자동차)

March 1981 – December 1984: Keohwa, Ltd. (㈜거화로)

December 1984 – November 1986: Dong-A Motor Co., Ltd. (동아자동차㈜)

(They were joint venture with Keohwa, Ltd. at the time for a while.)

November 1986: Ssangyong Group (쌍용그룹)
