After getting really bored, here what I found out:
Much later in the 90's, Mitsubishi released the L300 Exceed into the PH Market as an updated version of the L300 Versa Van and was sold alongside for a while. Although it is sold earlier as a Hyundai Grace.

Change to L300 Exceed + Made in/for: PH/RP
